Interplast is a UAE-based manufacturer of plastic piping systems, operating production facilities in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah and ranking among the largest pipe manufacturers in the region. The company produces HDPE, uPVC, PP and related pipes and fittings covering water supply, sewerage and drainage, gas distribution, cable protection, telecom ducting and wider infrastructure applications. Interplast manufactures pressure and non-pressure pipe to international standards, and its products are used on municipal, utility and building projects across the UAE and neighbouring Gulf markets. Its scale of production and network-scale product focus mean Interplast is often shortlisted alongside other approved manufacturers when utility authorities and main contractors specify piping for large water, sewerage or gas distribution schemes.
Interplast's core product lines include:
Given Interplast's focus on network-scale piping, buyers can compare its HDPE range against other manufacturers via the HDPE pipes category on ListGCC.
Interplast's large-diameter HDPE and uPVC ranges are commonly specified on UAE municipal and utility infrastructure, including buried water transmission and distribution mains, sewerage networks and gas distribution pipelines. The UAE's sulphate- and chloride-rich soils and groundwater, found across much of the country, make corrosion-resistant plastic piping systems a common choice over unprotected metallic pipe for these buried applications, while high ambient temperatures are a factor in installation practice and material handling on site. Coastal and marine-adjacent developments, along with inland desert-condition areas, both commonly specify HDPE and uPVC networks for their resistance to aggressive ground chemistry. Cable-protection ducting and telecom conduit are widely used on utility corridor and infrastructure projects where buried power and communications lines need mechanical protection. Explore the PVC pipes and fittings category for related drainage and sewerage pipe options from multiple brands active in the UAE. Contractors working on masterplan and utility-corridor developments also typically need several pipe types and diameters delivered in a coordinated sequence, which regionally manufactured network piping can support more flexibly than fully imported alternatives.
As a UAE-manufactured brand, Interplast is generally available through regional distributors and specialist infrastructure suppliers, with local production supporting more predictable lead times than fully imported piping systems for standard stock items. Larger-diameter or custom infrastructure orders, however, may still require lead time for manufacturing and quality documentation. Buyers should confirm whether a supplier holds current stock of the required diameter, pressure class and standard, and request material test certificates or compliance documentation for the specific batch. For utility-scale projects, buyers should also check whether the specified Interplast product carries the necessary approvals from the relevant UAE authority or municipality for that project, alongside confirming compliance generically referenced under ESMA / Emirates Conformity. Where a project specification calls for a particular standard or diameter series, it is worth clarifying this with the supplier at enquiry stage so any manufacturing lead time can be built into the overall project programme.
ListGCC helps UAE buyers request quotes from multiple Interplast-stocking suppliers in a single enquiry, saving time when sourcing for utility, infrastructure or building-services projects. Comparing quotes across dealers allows buyers to benchmark pricing and confirm which suppliers hold immediate stock versus requiring a manufacturing lead time for the specified diameter and pressure class. Verified badges on ListGCC listings add a layer of confidence for buyers placing significant infrastructure orders, and the platform makes it straightforward to request technical and compliance documentation alongside commercial quotes. This side-by-side comparison is particularly useful on programme-driven infrastructure works, where confirming supplier capacity and lead times early can help avoid delays further down the project schedule.
