What are piston pumps, and where do UAE plants use them?
A piston pump is a positive displacement pump in which a piston or plunger moves back and forth in a bore, drawing liquid in through a suction valve and pushing it out through a discharge valve. Each stroke delivers a fixed volume, so flow stays steady even as pressure climbs. - Packing and seals: plunger packing is a wear item. Specify flush or lubrication if the liquid is dry or abrasive, and keep spare packing sets in stock.
