Taiwanese FRP cooling towers for HVAC and industry
With projects ranging from single air-handling units to multi-cell commercial plant rooms, Saudi Arabia's HVAC contractors need a cooling tower range wide enough to cover most jobs without switching manufacturers, which is where King Sun's FRP lineup fits. The Taiwanese manufacturer builds round and square counterflow and crossflow towers in corrosion-resistant fibre-reinforced plastic, alongside closed-circuit units and spare parts, all factory-built rather than field-erected. Saudi buyers typically source King Sun through regional traders rather than a single manufacturer-appointed distributor.

With projects ranging from single air-handling units to multi-cell commercial plant rooms, Saudi Arabia's HVAC contractors need a cooling tower range wide enough to cover most jobs without switching manufacturers, which is where King Sun's FRP lineup fits. King Sun Industry is a Taiwanese manufacturer producing factory-built FRP (fibre-reinforced plastic) cooling towers for HVAC and light-industrial markets internationally. Its positioning sits between premium plastic-shell brands and generic steel towers: durable corrosion-resistant construction offered across a broad model lineup at a competitive price point, rather than field-erected or specialty engineered equipment.
King Sun is known in the trade for a wide capacity range packaged into standard factory-built models, which lets contractors cover multiple project sizes from a single manufacturer relationship. In Saudi Arabia, King Sun equipment generally reaches buyers through regional HVAC traders rather than one exclusive appointed distributor, and its position between premium and generic tiers is a common reason it appears on value-engineered mechanical schedules.
FRP round cooling towers offer a compact, factory-built footprint suited to plant rooms where space is constrained. Square counterflow cooling towers, where air rises against the falling water, are a standard configuration for general commercial HVAC condenser-water cooling. Crossflow cooling towers, where airflow moves horizontally across the water, provide an alternative arrangement that some projects prefer for maintenance access or fan-power characteristics.
King Sun's closed-circuit coolers isolate process fluid from the open evaporative circuit while keeping the same corrosion-resistant FRP casing, suiting applications where water treatment on the process side needs to stay separate. The manufacturer also stocks cooling tower spare parts, useful for facilities teams servicing an existing King Sun unit rather than sourcing a full replacement, particularly for fill media, drift eliminators and fan components that wear fastest in continuous commercial operation.
Commercial buildings, hotels and mixed-use developments across Riyadh, Jeddah and the Eastern Province specify King Sun's FRP towers for chilled-water plant cooling, where the casing's corrosion resistance suits the Kingdom's high heat and, in coastal areas, elevated humidity, without the cost premium some alternative brands carry. Contractors managing multiple concurrent commercial fit-outs often value having one manufacturer's range cover several project sizes.
Light-industrial facilities with process-cooling needs that fall short of large field-erected scale also use the range, particularly where closed-circuit configurations protect sensitive process fluid from the open water loop. Retrofit work is another common use case in Saudi Arabia, where a facilities team replacing a corroded steel tower on an existing plant room can often fit an FRP unit of comparable capacity without major structural changes, shortening project downtime. King Sun does not operate through a single exclusive Saudi distributor; the range is generally available via a number of regional HVAC traders, so buyers should ask a prospective supplier whether they import directly or source through an intermediary, as this can affect pricing, spare-parts turnaround and warranty handling.
As factory-built packaged towers, King Sun units generally have shorter lead times than field-erected equipment, though actual delivery depends on model, capacity and the trader's current stock; confirming timing at enquiry stage is more reliable than assuming immediate availability. Saudi buyers should also verify structural, electrical and material compliance referenced against SASO / Saber requirements, along with fan motor specifications matched to local voltage standards, before placing an order.
Because King Sun reaches Saudi Arabia through several traders rather than one appointed channel, pricing and lead time can differ meaningfully between suppliers. ListGCC lets buyers send a single enquiry and receive quotes from multiple verified King Sun suppliers across the Kingdom to compare side by side. Verified badges help buyers shortlist credible traders before committing to a purchase order.
