Oshkosh brand for booms, scissors and telehandlers
On a Saudi refinery shutdown or a giga-project schedule measured in days, a boom lift that goes down for want of a part is a real cost, which is why JLG's emphasis on diagnostics and factory parts backing carries weight with Kingdom fleet managers. Part of Oshkosh Corporation, JLG supplies articulating and telescopic booms, electric scissor lifts, telehandlers and low-level access equipment built for high working heights and long duty cycles. Saudi buyers generally reach JLG through authorised dealers and rental partners rather than independent import.

JLG Industries, an Oshkosh Corporation brand, ranks alongside Genie as one of the two access-equipment manufacturers most Saudi rental fleets are built around. Its lineup covers electric and engine-powered scissor lifts, articulating and telescopic boom lifts, vertical mast lifts, low-level access units and a broad telehandler range, with newer models pushing into hybrid and all-electric drivetrains paired with onboard diagnostics.
In the Kingdom, JLG is frequently specified where working height or machine uptime is the deciding factor, giga-project schedules and refinery shutdown windows leave little room for equipment downtime, and JLG's diagnostic systems are designed to flag issues before they become site delays.
Articulating boom lifts are suited to manoeuvring around structural steel, piping and plant equipment on congested industrial sites, while telescopic boom lifts deliver straight-line reach and maximum platform height for open construction sites, large-span steel erection and tank or vessel access at petrochemical facilities.
Electric scissor lifts handle indoor, finished-floor tasks such as warehouse racking and ceiling or MEP installation, where zero-emission operation matters in enclosed spaces. JLG's telehandlers add material-handling capability alongside the access range, lifting palletised loads and building materials to height on construction sites, and low-level access lifts cover tasks under roughly six metres, stocking, signage and light maintenance, without the footprint of a full scissor lift.
Both diesel and electric variants are generally available across the range, letting buyers match a machine to indoor, noise-restricted, or open desert-site conditions.
Saudi giga-projects and large infrastructure builds are the biggest source of JLG demand, where booms and telehandlers work side by side and reach, capacity and uptime directly affect construction schedules. Oil and gas maintenance shutdowns in the Eastern Province rely heavily on telescopic and articulating booms that can withstand sustained heat, dust and, near the coast, sulphate- and chloride-rich air that accelerates corrosion on exposed metal parts.
Warehousing and logistics operations around Dammam, Jeddah and Riyadh use JLG's electric scissors and low-level access units for indoor racking and MEP maintenance, where noise and emissions restrictions favour electric equipment over diesel. Facility management contractors add steady demand for the smaller end of the range across commercial and institutional buildings. Given the Kingdom's extreme summer temperatures, confirming battery and hydraulic system guidance for sustained heat exposure with the supplying dealer is worthwhile before committing equipment to a long outdoor deployment.
JLG machines in Saudi Arabia are generally sourced through authorised dealers and rental partners based in Dammam, Riyadh and Jeddah, either as outright purchases or rental agreements. Buyers should confirm whether a supplier holds authorised JLG dealer status with direct factory parts and service backing, as distinct from a general trader offering used or independently imported machines, a distinction that matters most once a machine needs parts or warranty support mid-project.
Lead times vary by machine type: standard electric scissor lifts are often available from dealer or rental stock quickly, while specific high-reach boom or telehandler configurations may require factory order, adding several weeks to delivery. Buyers should confirm SASO / Saber compliance documentation, verify working height and capacity against the project specification, and ask about local parts stock for the exact model before finalising an order.
Rather than contacting dealers and rental partners individually, buyers can submit one enquiry through ListGCC and receive quotes from multiple verified JLG suppliers across Saudi Arabia, making it easier to compare pricing, machine availability and rental-versus-purchase terms. Verified supplier badges help procurement teams identify genuinely authorised JLG dealers before entering detailed technical discussions.
